Engine House No. 5 was originally constructed in Grand Rapids over a century ago. The structure was torn down and reconstructed in Allendale as a fire museum and displays fire hall artifacts from days gone past. Tourists can learn of how a fire station was operated in 1880 by examining old photographs and equipment such as a horse drawn steam pumper and hose cart.
