The Morton House Museum was the residence of Eleazar and Joanna Cotton Morton, the first European settlers in what is now Benton Harbor. The Mortons were founders Benton Harbor and instrumental in its growth. The House is open for tours April through October on Thursdays, 1pm – 4pm and Sundays, 2pm – 4pm. Mary's City of David Museum is the third oldest practicing Christian community in America. The properties opened to the public in 1997, offering tours and displays of Christian history back to post-Elizabethan England. The tour sites include a print shop, power house, carpentry shop, cannery, mechanic garage, Shiloh gardens and nature trail to Eastman Springs. The hours and operation are from June to September.
