Located along the West Coast of
Michigan, Grand Haven boasts beautiful beaches, unique attractions and fun-filled
annual events, making it a prime vacation destination year-round. Located on the
shores of Lake
Michigan, Grand
Haven State Park is a great place to camp, swim, crosscountry ski, fish and
picnic. Fishing
charters and boat tours are offered by a number of Grand Haven outfitters,
with some of the excursions leaving from the city's Grand
Isle Marina. The Tri-Cities
Historical Museum is a fun way to spend the day learning about the history
of Northwest Ottawa County, including the communities of Grand Haven, Spring
Lake and Ferrysburg.
During spring and summer months, people gather to see a synchronized light and
music show at the World's
Largest Musical Fountain. In late July and early August the 10-day Coast
Guard Festival brings live music, carnival rides and a parade to Grand Haven.
